10 Marvel Characters Who Deserve Their Own Disney+ Series
1. Namor
The obvious MCU candidates like the Fantastic Four, Beta Ray Bill, Adam Warlock and the X-Men have been left out here, as they’ll likely make their debut on the silver screen, not the small one. Namor though is one of those ones who could go both ways.
Similar to Blade and Moon Knight, he’s big enough for a movie, yet not so major that the television wouldn’t contain him. Considering Blade is getting a film and Moon Knight a show, that doesn’t really help us figure it out.
Apparently, there’s been confusion over exactly who owns him for years, which is why he’s never appeared in anything. As things stand, the latest information is that (similar to Hulk), Disney are free to use him as long as he’s not a titular star. Given the hardball the House Of Mouse played with Spider-Man, they’re unlikely to co-operate for a smaller star like Namor.
More likely, given that the earthquake off the coast of Wakanda in Endgame teased his arrival, he may show up as an antagonist in Black Panther 2. Failing that, if Disney does go for a Wakanda based Disney+ show like the hypothetical M’Baku, Namor may find a TV home after all.
