If you would've told Star Wars fanatics even a year or so ago that they would finally be given the Boba Fett solo outing many had been clamouring for since the characters captivating debut all those years ago, they likely would've swallowed you whole like a Sarlacc there and then out of sheer excitement.

However, here we are in 2022 and with said The Book of Boba Fett, Disney appear to be dealing with one of their first real flops on the Star Wars small screen stage. With The Mandalorian going on to become one of Disney+'s most successful properties, bringing in consistently high ratings from critics and a massive audience, it came as a disappointing development to see that Book of Boba Fett's demand was 75.5% lower in the US, with that number rising to 101% less globally.

The arrival of said Mando on the show in episode five unsurprisingly gifted the series with both its best episode and most talked about entry to date, showing that Dave Filoni and John Favreau would likely be wise to keep their new poster boy front and centre should they want to keep their audience's eyes firmly on their new TV galaxy far, far away.
