10 Most Brutal TV Weapons
3. Lucille - The Walking Dead
You can't be too picky with what weapon you'll use in a zombie apocalypse. Only a lucky few will stumble upon a katana or crossbow, so maybe it's time to take up some DIY skills and make a weapon your own.
After the group of survivors named the Saviors capture almost all of Rick's group seeking medical attention, their captors introduce Rick's followers to the head of their organisation: Negan. For attacking one of the Saviors' strongholds, Negan makes it clear he must punish one of Rick's group: enter Lucille.
Now, a bat with barbed wire around it may not be the craziest weapon imaginable, but Jeffery Dean Morgan's electrifying performance as the sadistic Negan sells the brutal whacker. Showrunners wracked up the tension as they left who Negan decided to wallop a season cliffhanger.
For anyone who watched season 7's first episode, the memory of Lucille has been securely ingrained in their brains for eternity. Things are bad enough when Negan sicks Lucille on Abraham, but it's the beating of fan-favourite Glenn that really turned fans' stomachs.
While this is where Glenn meets his demise in the comics, many fans were horrified as Negan takes an uncomfortable amount of time admiring his handiwork after two skull-crushing (and heart-breaking) smacks. The graphic depiction was deemed too brutal by some fans, and many claimed the scene turned them off The Walking Dead for good.
What's worse is Negan admits to Rick in later episdoes he picked Glenn intentionally, as he didn't want to kill Rick in front of his son, Carl. Couldn't you have left it at Abraham, Negan?
