10 Most Satisfying TV Character Deaths Of The Past Decade
2. Ramsay Bolton - Game Of Thrones
Identity of Deceased: Ramsay Bolton, bastard son of Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatton), briefly the Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North. Portrayed by Iwan Rheon.
Time of Death: 'The Battle of the Bastards,' Season 6 Episode 9 (first broadcast 19th June 2016).
Cause of Death: As Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and his army retake Winterfell, Jon beats Ramsay almost to death, then has him taken to the dungeon. There, he is visited by Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), who releases Ramsay's own starving hounds into his cell, and Sansa watches coolly as they eat him alive.
Why It Was So Satisfying: Anyone who's seen even a few episodes of Game of Thrones knows it's never low on carnage, and has no shortage of sadistic, power-hungry madmen; and madwomen, for that matter.
However, Ramsay is a strong contender for the worst of them all, following his brutalisation of both Sansa and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), and - earlier that same episode - the cruel murder of Rickon Stark (Art Parkinson).
Of course, given its abundance of awful characters meeting equally awful ends, there was no way we could only include one such satisfying demise from Game of Thrones...
