3. Antwane And Tony
In Season 3, Catfish introduced us to the delightful Antwane who had been talking to Tony for three years via a chat line. His cousin Carmen had contacted the show seeking the help of Nev and Max to reveal the identity of Tony. Even after speaking for so long, Antwane had never seen a photo of Tony - much less video chatted - as Tony often said he was too busy working to meet.
Tony's number was traced to a woman named Diana who happened to have a family member named Anthony. Unfortunately, Anthony was now serving time in prison, which would have explained why he could never meet if he was Tony.
The hosts, Antwane and Carmen travelled to multiple locations that were connected to Diana. In a shocking twist, Carmen turned around and revealed she was actually Tony and had been catfishing her cousin as revenge for him calling her a "fat Kelly Price". The entire thing had been constructed to ridicule Antwane but backfired on Carmen and destroyed the relationship between the two!
