10 Nicest Things Bojack Horseman Has Ever Done
4. He Let Todd Live With Him
After living alone in Hollywood for so long, Bojack soon found himself with a new roommate. After finding his way into one of the host's traditional Halloween parties, Todd, having no other place to go, spent the night on the couch.
The next morning, as a thank you of sorts, Todd made the incredibly hungover Bojack enough hash browns to make him sick, which made Todd sick, which p*ssed Bojack off because he had to call the pool cleaner. This was the first of many times Bojack would get angry at Todd, but he still let him stay on his couch, rent free, for years.
Though it may have originally been because the titular character was tired and scared of being alone, letting Todd live with him was an incredibly kind thing to do. He could have done anything for company, and it was certainly not above Bojack to pay for someone to keep him from being alone. However, he still chose Todd.
And through these years, he could have forced Todd to get a job and to pay rent, or help around the house in some way, but no. He let his friend stay exactly as he was, never asking for money. He may have treated him worse than he deserved for a long time, but better that with a roof over his head than being homeless on the streets, which is exactly what Bojack saved Todd from.
