Despite the endless production line of content being produced under the banner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's weird to think that not one property in the franchise is based around a villain rather than a hero. In contrast, the DC Extended Universe managed that with just its third movie, Suicide Squad.

But which villain would be the best fit to helm their own series? It would have to be a character strong enough to work without bouncing off a hero, after all. With that in mind, one name that jumps out is the lesser-known character The Hood.

After stealing a demon's cloak, low-level crook Parker Robbins gains a range of mystical superpowers that allow him to rise to the top of the pile in New York's criminal underworld. He's fierce and ruthless but there is a sympathetic edge to the character as he brought himself up from nothing.

Simply put, The Hood TV show could give Marvel their own version of Breaking Bad.
