10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About Peaky Blinders
3. It's Far Too Short
A show that is this packed to the rafters with explosions, explosive plot devices, explosions of violence, violent explosions, explosive rants, and yet more explosions, should run for more than six episodes a series.
Now it might seem shocking, but if it hadn't already been made fundamentally clear by now that Peaky Blinders has far too much going on in each episode nowadays to have delivered on everything it wants to in just six episodes.
It is understandable in the earlier days of the show that budget and scheduling issues would get in the way of a more lengthy production. But given how popular and successful the show has gone on to be with a global audience you might struggle to justify why this format hasn't changed.
Granted, yes, some shows do have far too many episodes that end up taking too much out of the show's story or cause it to bloat colossally, but even adding just one or two additional episodes could give the show some additional breathing space, that it clearly needs to fulfil all it's grand designs.
