10 Reasons The Book Of Boba Fett Is Not As Bad As Many Star Wars Fans Thought
7. Continuation Of The Mandalorian
The bar was set extremely high when Disney dropped The Mandalorian in our laps in 2019. The first live-action Star Wars spin-off series introduced engaging new characters, simplistic storylines from episode to episode that were easy to follow, and showed us a stripped back side of the galaxy very different to the sequel movies.
In many ways, The Mandalorian was the closest stylistically that viewers had seen to the original trilogy. Boba Fett had been reintroduced in season two, and The Book Of Boba Fett picks up his story right where the series dropped off. In episode five of Book, we are reunited with Mandalorian Din Djarin, as we join him mid-bounty mission and follow as he reunites and then falls out with some of his own kind.
Din is visited by Fennec Shand, who requests he join her and Boba Fett to help keep control in Mos Espa. He agrees, forgoing any fee due to the respect he has for the pair following the help they afforded him previously in helping rescue Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) - but not before Djarin takes the decision to visit his little friend, who he had previously passed into the care of Luke Skywalker.
