Luke Skywalker appeared at the very end of The Mandalorian's second season in a blaze of lightsaber fighting. With Din Djarin’s blessing, he took Grogu with him to begin the little fella's Jedi training. The appearance of Luke was one of the most talked about TV events of 2021, and created a huge climax to the series which left fans hungry for more.

Well, Disney certainly delivered in The Book Of Boba Fett and provided us with a Luke-heavy episode six, featuring poignant sequences paying homage to Skywalker’s training with Master Yoda on Dagobah in The Empire Strikes Back.

We see the pair meditating together as well as Luke carrying Grogu on his back, just as he did with Yoda back in the classic 1980 movie. We also see Luke using a remote training ball to teach Grogu defensive fighting skills, as Baby Yoda's character arc begins to develop. As Grogu's training completes, Skywalker provides him with an ultimatum, asking him to choose between staying with Luke or return to be with his father figure Din Djarin
