10 Reasons Why Better Call Saul Could Be As Good As Breaking Bad

6. It's Just As Beautifully Shot

Breaking Bad was undoubtedly one of the best looking shows on television - shot through with a keen flair for the cinematic, the production design and cinematography really made the most of the New Mexico desert setting, with saturated wide angle images capturing the sense of space. With largely the same crew working on Better Call Saul, it's perhaps not at all suprising to see that it looks every bit as good as its predecessor. Indeed, watching the first two episodes makes clear that the visual rhythms and style is completely in keeping with Breaking Bad - beautiful wide angle photography is featured throughout, and there are more than a few artistic shots to elevate this above standard television fare. Just like Breaking Bad, this is cinema on the small screen.
