Katy Perry, Enrique and many others have appeared on the show, and How I Met Your Mother's popularity increased manifold once they entered the show. Guests always increase the ratings and the viewers of the show, and the guests on HIMYM did the same. Enrique and Katy Perry were fully focused on for one episode, and both those episodes went on to become big hits. Enrique played Robin's boyfriend, and Katy Perry played a simple, gullible girl, who made everyone say, 'Oh, honey'. These superstars added to the dynamic of the show, which only made it more interesting. Marshall's dad had just passed away, and Katy Perry made things lighter on the show, while Enrique did the same for Ted and Robin's relationship, which made the show feel empty, but Enrique added life in it.
