3. Its Creators are Geniuses
Trey and Matt, for their contributions to society in general, have netted their share of awards (albeit mainly Trey, who is the creative leader of the two). In fact, theyre only one step away from achieving that elusive EGOT; an Emmy, a Grammy, and Oscar and a Tony. South Park has won no less than four Emmys, Book of Mormon netted four Tonys; Parker also won a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album, again with Book of Mormon. Its not hard to imagine that the Oscar isnt far in the future. With such talented individuals at the helm of South Park, its not surprising that it blows all other, The Simpsons included, so far out of the water, theyll land in middle America.
