10 Reasons Why The Walking Dead Is Currently Better Than Ever

There have been plenty of fights in The Walking Dead. From Rick's second season throwdown with Shane to the big zombie battle sequences throughout the show's run, there has always been a fight scene or two waiting to happen.

Under Angela Kang, the fight scenes have become much better choreographed - stylish, tense, and unpredictable. So far, the best two fight scenes have involved Daryl. In Season Nine, he goes toe-to-toe with Beta, who, being about 19 foot tall, rags the crossbow weilder around like a ragdoll.

Later, he goes after Alpha whilst looking for Magna and Connie, and though he manages to kill a handful of Whisperers and walkers, Alpha blindsides him and leaves him bleeding out in a petrol station. Watching the fight through his eyes, the screen red with his dripping blood, was a stroke of genius that made the entire sequence all the more impressive and daring.
