4. Amy And Rory Being Touched By An Angel

The Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, and Rory Williams are among the very best when it comes to the dynamic aboard the TARDIS. They had been through a lot together, and shown such growth as a trio, added by the unique aspect that Amy and Rory were technically the Doctor's step-parents.

Like all good things, you simply didn't want this happy time to come to a end.

The Angels Take Manhattan made the Ponds' exit as emotional as possible, driving a dagger through the Eleventh Doctor's hearts in order to deliver a more impactful blow. His connection with Amy ran deep into his very being, having been the very first person he interacted with through that persona's eyes.

Despite the Eleventh Doctor's desperate attempts to cheat time, and Amy and Rory showing their defiance against the Weeping Angels, there was just no escaping fate. Especially when it's set in stone. In the end, Amy grew as a character and realised she needed to let her raggedy man go and follow her husband through time, even if it meant breaking the Time Lord's hearts.

Loving husband and full-time nerd. My pastime is analysing and sharing my thoughts on things. I dabble with video games, enjoy a good horror movie, and love my superhero content. And Doctor Who is my favourite show of all times.
