Some of the best story ideas comes in its simplicity, and they didn't come any better than the wonderful premise for this Sci-Fi Drama. The premise saw an experimental teleport being made operational that transported our protagonist, Frank, seven days into the past to stop catastrophic events before they occurred.

Frank, portrayed with real verve by Jonathon LaPaglia, was an intriguing lead man due to his contrasting moods, his uber confident persona hiding his issues with depression. The pilot episode is spectacular, with Frank heading back a week in time in an attempt to stop the murders of the US and Russian Presidents. The next episode managed to raise the stakes once more, as Frank used the teleport to stop a virus being spread that would kill 98% of the world's population.

Of all the shows on this list, this is one that wasted its great premise by going too hard too early. Having saved the Presidents of the world's two superpowers and then saving mankind from an extinction level event, the show simply gave itself nowhere to go. Each episode following this felt insignificant in comparison, and the ratings suffered accordingly.

The self-contained stories of each episode proved to be a flaw, with the show becoming something you'd watch if there was nothing else on, without ever being the must watch product the premise promised.

With all the suave and sophistication of any Aussie half way through a slab, Luke will critique every minute detail of films and shows from all eras- unless it's 1990's Simpsons episodes, because they're just perfect
