10 Sketchiest TV Businesspeople Of All Time

9. Leslie Stevens - Black-ish

The Simpsons Mr Burns
ABC Studios

Black-ish has successfully straddled the line between comedy and social relevance for six seasons, with a seventh on the way. It's managed to be educational and funny without being preachy or condescending, which is an absolutely incredible feat to say the least.

Andre "Dre" Johnson is the patriarch of his family on the show, earning a living in marketing at a company called Stevens and Lido. Despite the fact that they are a raving pack of lunatics, Dre's co-workers are frequently a sounding board for many of the problems in his life. Suffice to say their advice is frequently horrible and useless.

At the top of the pile is Leslie Stevens, co-owner of the company alongside Daphne Lido. He is an Olympic-level hipster racist and homophobe who thinks that both of those qualities are endearing for some reason. Mr. Stevens is also a questionable businessman, alluding to, and sometimes openly admitting to, the laws he's bent or broken in business.
