10 Stephen King Stories That Need To Become TV Shows
7. American Vampire
While the true genius behind this Eisner-snaffling series is Batman and Swamp Thing writer, Scott Snyder, there was a time during the comic's infancy that King's input was invaluable, priming the comic to become the success that it is today. Dotting between the 1800s all the way up to the 1950s and beyond, this is the only real vampire comic series that takes a serious look at the evolution of the species and how a bunch of fanged characters fair over the years. With some pretty striking ink work from Rafael Albuquerque, who expertly captures the story in grubby and gory ways, this could work as an animated show as well as a blood-soaked live action piece. Although King's story involvement ended after the fifth issue, there is nothing stopping the man himself coming on board for this project, should it ever swoop onto our screens.
