3. Arrested Development
Arrested Development is one of the greatest TV shows ever made. Period. But the pilot just feels a bit... Off. Its not as fast paced as the rest of the series. Granted, this is because they have to introduce the characters to us and everything, but what makes Arrested Development funny is all the recurring gags, how quickly the characters bounce off of one another, and probably the most underrated supporting character of all time, Ann Veal. All of these things are absent in the pilot episode. Now Im not saying that its necessarily a bad episode, Im just saying that when compared to the rest of the series, it lacks that certain quality, the X-Factor if you will, that makes Arrested Development one of the greatest sitcoms ever made. It was recently resurrected for a fourth series, and one of my greatest fears is that they will attempt to reintroduce all of the characters. We dont need that. Not again.
