Bryan Fuller has the strange talent of writing brilliant television shows, only to have them canceled. Not only was the amazing Hannibal canceled but the equally amazing, Pushing Daisies was also given the boot, despite numerous awards and great reviews.
So what happened? The writer's strike of 2007/08 had a huge impact on the future of the show, so much so that ratings declined and the network decided that it wasn't worth it anymore.
Fuller has often spoken about plans to get it up and running again, with Netflix hotly linked to a "lost season" where the narrator finally shows themselves. Please, Netflix, make this happen.
