7. Acknowledge The Global Impact Of The Devastation
Okay, so here's a curveball. What if - in The Walking Dead world - the outbreak is limited to the USA? Or North America? Or the entire landmass from the tip of Argentina to the top of Alaska? It obviously still means hundreds of millions of people are dead, but what if the rest of the world survived? America could be one big quarantine zone, with the rest of the world watching on in horror, building defences for any potential outbreaks in their countries. Nobody can really fathom the true scale of the disaster with communication lines knocked out and power at a premium. That could all be totally barking up the wrong tree, but if there's a way to end either show, that is most certainly a staggering contender. There's a decent chance of getting more information on the global situation from FTWD seen as it dates back to the start of the outbreak, and in a city like L.A. with such wide communication links to the outside world, there's got to be some sort of rough idea of what's going on elsewhere. Also, in the image above, how did that train crash? How many walkers did it take to derail it? Did walkers even do that? Answers, please...
