10 Things We Already Know About The X-Files Revival
8. Breaking Bad's Vince Gilligan Says He's Open To Returning, Time Permitting
The biggest name to come out of The X-Files writer's room has, of course, been Vince Gilligan, creator of the acclaimed Breaking Bad, and, now, Better Call Saul. Gilligan actually saw the core of his first hit series come together while working on The X-Files: Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Dean Norris all appeared in various X-Files episodes before going on to become regulars on Breaking Bad. Gilligan is a guy in high demand with a new show of his own, but Better Call Saul shoots just ten episodes a season, and its current year is just now coming to a close. Gilligan stated shortly after news broke that The X-Files was returning that, schedule permitting, he'd welcome the chance to return. However, nothing has been formally announced just yet.
