10 Things You Somehow Missed In The Office

2. The Return Of The Teapot

The Office
NBC

The teapot gifted by Jim to Pam is one of the enduring symbols of The Office, playing a significant role in one of television's most widely celebrated romances since its first appearance all the way back in the tenth episode of Season 2.

While fans will be familiar with the return of the teapot in the show's final season - used by Jim to dispel Pam's fears that she and their children are "not enough" for him - the ceramic vessel actually made another separate appearance several seasons beforehand.

Season Four's Branch Wars primarily follows Michael and Dwight's depraved efforts to sabotage the Utica branch amidst Karen's attempts to poach Stanley Hudson, but also features the first appearance of the ultra-exclusive Finer Things Club. The club is comprised of Pam, Oscar and Toby and meets every month to discuss art, literature and all things cultured in a civilized and demure manner.

In another eagle-eyed spot from our friends at Reddit, the teapot can be seen in prominent position on the table amidst Andy's fruitlessly desperate attempts to gain membership to the club. It's right there, but if you weren't looking for it, there's every chance one would miss it.
