3. Danny Pink's Amazing Gravity Defying Leap
There were a number of WTF moments in Series 8 but fans are still wincing over Danny Pink's unlikely somersault over the Skovox Blitzer in The Caretaker. Simply put, his jump was impossible. The act of getting past the Blitzer could just as easily have been accomplished by having Danny slide quickly across the floor with a passing comment of "Lucky the caretaker over-waxed the floor - oh, hang on, you're the caretaker, Doctor. Did you plan that?" Instead, the production team chose a preposterous plot device. Which is why a large number of fans claim to smell shark. Otherwise, The Caretaker was a great episode, which makes Danny's leap stand out all the more.
