10 Times Doctor Who Was Accused Of Having A Hidden Agenda

10. The Moffat Agenda

Tumblr Inline Mg7vz8vpaz1r6xhhn1 Gif Because Steven Moffat is trying to ruin everything that Doctor Who has ever stood for, apparently. One episode at a time. It's safe to say that the Moff's ongoing tenure as showrunner has been overshadowed by a seemingly endless conveyor belt of complaints and controversies but it's also been full of great storylines, interesting characters and an an abundance of historic landmark festivities, all of which most people seem to conveniently forget. Despite its record breaking ratings and the fact that the show is now more popular than it's ever been before, there's still a minority of "old school fans" who have convinced themselves that the BBC are conspiring to destroy Doctor Who completely by enlisting the services of Steven Moffat to sh*t all over the renaming reputable remnants of what was once their favourite childhood series. Right. So that explains why they went through the effort of bringing it back in the first place, then, and why they've entrusted Steven with not one but two of their flagship franchises. The BBC haven't always supported Doctor Who but if they're trying to destroy it, they're certainly going the wrong way about it. Next?
