In Futurama, Bender's favourite show is the robotic romantic drama, All My Circuits (well that and Hypnotoad of course).

All My Circuits is a shocking, enthralling and unpredictable show following the lives of Calculon and those closest to him. Episodes of the show feature throughout Futurama and tackle topics such as love, friendship, amnesia, and evil cyborg twins. You know, classic TV soap stuff.

In Season 2 episode 8 , the gang are in the cinema watching All My Circuits: The Movie. As Calculon sits at his office at Calculon Enterprises sorting paperwork, he is alerted to a call that the city is under attack. The audience is then asked to chose whether Calculon enters a lasergun battle or carries on with his paperwork. Through a glitch, the cinema opts for the latter and sit through Calculon meticulously going through his work.

The film also features a spoofed Bond intro with floating blasters, orchestral arrangements and dancing robot girls.

Who wouldn't reach for the opportunity to not only watch this robotic soap opera unfold on the big screen but also get the chance to choose the characters' fate? We'd also be able to answer the burning question: DID CALUCLON'S PAPERWORK TURN OUT OK?

I see my role at WhatCulture the same way my wife sees my role as a lover: I contribute in a very small way, my presence is barely noticeable and I’m not entirely sure if the laughter is at me or with me.
