The Thunder Gun films are referenced throughout It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and, although we don't get to see any actual footage of it until Season 14, the gang talk about it with such enthusiasm it has gotten viewers dying for a taste of the action.
John Thundergun is a maverick action hero fueled by violence, sex and, from what the gang say, is not afraid to "hang dong" . In fact, in the DVD bonus material, there are four extra seconds dedicated to the dong shot!
In Season 14, we finally get to see what the fuss is all about. The film is full of cheesy action cliches delivered by none other than Swedish action hero and MIT graduate, Dolph Lundgren.
