Oh, so we're all forgetting one of the greatest scenes in Mad Men history, are we? Once upon a time, Lane Pryce was just another office worker, good with numbers and utterly dominated by his abusive father. He's the classic stereotype of an Englishman who is wound just a little bit too tightly, and you can tell that one of these days he's going to snap. That day did come to Pryce, and it was glorious, because the majority of his ire was aimed at Pete Campbell, one of the most lovably hateable characters in modern television. We have to side with Roger on this one, who in the heat of the moment fantastically snarks, "I know cooler heads should prevail, but am I the only one who wants to see this?" Long story short, he ends up in a legitimate boxing match with Pete, and wipes the floor with the little weasel, to the amazement and delight of everyone. There's a dual lesson here: you should never underestimate the quiet ones, and a gentleman's fight is easily the best (most entertaining, anyway) method of resolving workplace tensions.
