10 TV Plot Threads That Were Never Resolved

5. What Happened To Eddie McDowd? - 100 Deeds For Eddie McDowd

Chances are you've never even seen or heard of 100 Deeds For Eddie McDowd, and that's because the idea of a Disney sitcom based around a wise-ass, quipping dog is something a normal person would never tolerate. The premise behind said show, and one that was similar to that of My Name Is Earl, was based around Eddie McDowd, a douchebaggy loser who finds himself magically transformed into a mutt and must perform 100 good deeds (hey, like in the name of the show!) if he ever wants to return to human form.

Eddie eventually accepts the fact that he has been turned into a dog and begins to embrace life as a filthy, fun-loving family pet. The format of show was based on the genius notion that Eddie would perform exactly one good deed per episode, though it was cancelled when it reached a mere 40 episodes - as a result, Eddie never got to complete his task and was subjected to life as a dog forever. Somewhere around what would have been episode 60, Eddie probably got taken to the pound and put to death, because he's one of the worst fictional characters ever conceived, and writing that makes me feel good.
