10 TV Shows That Just Got Cancelled

5. Minx

The Flight Attendant
HBO

This one was just cruel. After airing on HBO Max for its first season, the brilliant comedy Minx was cancelled whilst its second season was in early development. Luckily, it was saved by Starz, who released its second season before, you guessed it, cancelling it again.

An amazingly funny look at feminism in the 70s, Minx followed a writer (Ophelia Lovibond) who teamed up with an adult entertainment publisher (Jake Johnson) to create a women's erotic magazine, and the results were amusing and surprisingly moving, anchored by its two electric leads.

Minx had all the makings of a cult favourite, and certainly had plenty more stories to tell, but Starz seemed to disagree. Unlike the other shows on this list, though, this one hurts doubly, a rare hit that was cruelly axed more than once, by two different networks. Talk about false hope.
