For those who just couldn't get enough of Buffy's forbidden romances with vampire heart throbs Angel and Spike, A Discovery of Witches is the one for you.

Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode are on pitch perfect form as the historian/reluctant witch Diana Bishop and the geneticist/noble vampire Matthew Clairmont. The 2 decide to team up and safeguard a bewitched manuscript brimming with all manner of secrets surrounding the world of magic. Keeping the manuscript proves to be double trouble for the pair as not only must they unravel its countless mysteries, they also have to contend with threats from various supernatural species.

Sky's sterling adaptation of Deborah Harkness' bestselling All Souls trilogy has proven a major hit with critics and audiences alike. The sizzling chemistry between the leads coupled with excellent camera work and a diverse supporting cast (not to mention a super evil vampire pope) prevent there ever being a dull moment. Despite being completely different in tone and style to Buffy, A Discovery of Witches tackles similar themes and fantasy with a heady, brooding gusto that'll win over fans everywhere.
