10 Upcoming Anime You MUST Watch

While most of the series listed here are brand new, Attack on Titan is entering into its fourth and final season in 2020. The new episodes are expected to release sometime in the Fall of 2020 on NHK General, which will later be followed by an English translation sometime later.

If you're not familiar with the series, 2020 offers a great opportunity to binge-watch the first three seasons. The show revolves around a future/medieval society trapped withing huge walls. The walls are there to protect the population from the Titans, giant humanoid monsters intent on devouring every human they get their hands on.

The series revolves principally around Eren Yeager and his two closest friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, but there are dozens of support characters who have their own intricate backstories. Eren and his team joined the Scout Regiment, which is an elite team of soldiers who train to battle Titans via special Omni-directional gear coupled with large swords.

Both the manga and anime series have been highly praised by critics and fans. There are more than 84 million copies of the manga in print across the globe, and the anime has won critical acclaim for its story, music, voice acting, and animation style, which closely resembles the original comics.
