10 Ways Game Of Thrones Has Been "Ruined" Before The Finale
1. It Just Makes No Sense
Its been quite clear for a while that the writing quality in Game of Thrones has been a far cry from what it once was since the show ran out of source material. While the quality had been reduced in previous seasons the plots were still logical and believable.
In this season however, so much of it just makes no sense. There are huge logic jumps and the events are often nonsensical. The response to Daenerys’ inability to spot Euron’s fleet, “Dany forgot about the Iron Fleet”, has now become infamous online and for good reason. Despite discussing them earlier in the same episode, she somehow forgets their existence.
This is the most egregious example of the season but it is one of many. Euron’s ability to wash up directly next to Jaime is a huge coincidence and his reasoning for fighting him is nonexistent. You may be sensing a common thread in Euron Greyjoy but even Arya has a huge logic jump when she decides to forget about revenge despite it being a definitive part of her journey for years.
