10 WHAT IF…? Comics Marvel Needs To Adapt For Season 2

2. What If... Deadpool Killed The Marvel Universe?

What If
Marvel Comics

Though not strictly a 'What If?' title from Marvel Comics, a second season episode surrounding Deadpool killing the entire Marvel Universe would be perfect. It even starts with an introduction from the Watcher, just like the Disney+ episodes typically have, though none as of yet have seen Jeffrey Wright's cosmic character beheaded by the episode's protagonist.

Whether the Merc with the Mouth had been introduced to the MCU by this point or not, this is the kind of story What If...? was created for. If this would be a follow up appearance after Deadpool 3 it would be a great way to keep him around in the MCU, and if this was his franchise introduction, there aren't many ways it could be done better.

In the comics, Deadpool killed the Fantastic Four, an entire Avengers roster, and even immensely powered characters like the Hulk, among others. This would literally be the entire episode, and it would be a hell of a lot of fun.

Thanks to Wade Wilson's R-rated nature, and his habit of breaking the fourth wall, it may be difficult for Disney to integrate him completely into the wider MCU. This however, would be one of the better ways of having him share the screen with the likes of Captain America, Thor, and Spider-Man.
