12 Cartoons You Definitely Watched In The 90s

5. Rugrats

This toddler TV creation ran the whole way through the 90€™s (with a few brief gaps) and into the 00€™s. Seemingly on every morning for your whole childhood, the cartoon went on to make two big screen adaptations, Rugrats The Movie and Rugrats In Paris. Following the infant lives of Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil, Rugarts couldn€™t be ignored - even if you tried. The comedy focused on the day-to-day lives of the baby aged protagonists and the adventures they got up too. The cartoon dealt with social issues like bullying (often by Tommy€™s cousin and tormentor Angelica), while also looking into the lives of their parents, and their problems. Quite the drama for a kids cartoon. With a moral element to every episode, Rugrats was as big a hit with parents as it was with kids (parents obviously needing to be taught some morals themselves). The spin-off All Grown Up suffered growing pains and didn€™t have quite the same appeal as its younger self, but Rugrats remains a toddler titan of 90€™s nostalgia.
