12 TV Deaths You Knew Were Coming (That Still Broke You)

9. Bryce Walker - 13 Reasons Why

Bryce Walker Death 13 Reasons Why
Netflix

13 Reasons Why is a seriously powerful show that tackles a lot of important issues in our society, showing audiences the hardships endured by Hannah Baker through her own eyes, as well as through main guy Clay Jensen.

Whilst Hannah and Clay are shown to struggle through their lives, the opposite couldn't be more true for high school senior and all round bad guy Bryce Walker, at least in the opening two seasons. Having been revealed to be the twelfth reason for Hannah's suicide after sexually assaulting her, Bryce is slowly morphed into becoming a far more well-rounded and even likeable character by the time series 3 rolls around.

Frustrated that he's attempting to turn his life around and treat people better, audiences are given the best preparations for witnessing his ultimate finale right from the get-go of the third season. Bryce is first described as missing, and then the show goes into graphic detail explaining exactly how the former-antagonist went out.

Audiences finally get to see who Bryce's killer is in the show's finale, however the development of the character throughout the series really does lend an extra layer of depth to the whole sequence that not everyone was necessarily prepared for.
