12 TV Families Ranked From Worst To Best

5. The Halliwells €“ Charmed

Charmed Sisters The Halliwell sisters are the most powerful witches to roam the magical world. As well as possessing the abilities to move, freeze and teleport objects with a flick of the wrist, they're strong, sexy independent women who find the time to build successful careers, find attractive men to marry and bodyslam demons in their high heels and heavily cleavage-emphasising attire. If it wasn't for the occupational hazard of losing a loved one to the forces of evil every few years or so, a one way ticket to the Halliwell manor would seem like a dream come true for every modern woman the world over. When Phoebe inadvertently cast the spell to awaken her family's dormant magic way back in the first episode of Charmed, she clearly didn't read the small print that signed them up for nearly a decade of defending themselves from nasty warlocks, putting their lives on hold to save the world, watching people get maimed and mutilated in a range of horrific ways, having to face the television equivalent of Satan himself (The Source of all Evil, not Simon Cowell) and sacrificing someone you care about for the greater good on a weekly basis. Obviously being a Charmed one is a double edged sword but if we put the witchcraft aside for a second, the Halliwells are still a great family with an unshakeable bond that no demon in the universe has been able to destroy. The sisters survived the loss in their lives by rallying together and became all the stronger for it. They would literally go to hell and back for someone they love and forgive each other's mistakes with open arms instead of judging them for their horrible life decisions. When it comes to the Halliwells, the best advice would be to approach with caution lest you get in the way of a stray fireball or a warlock's cross hairs. Still, with the level of devotion they have to each other they're a pretty formidable team to come up against, powers or not.
