4. Clay Is Extremely Annoying

Clay may be dealing with some pretty heavy stuff, but damn that kid is annoying as hell in Season 2. To be honest, he could occasionally be annoying in the first season, but it felt as though the writers removed many of the character's redeeming qualities this time around.

From almost screwing everything up when he went to shoot Bryce, to being dick-ish towards Zach and Justin on several occasions, Clay becomes more and more irritating as the season goes on. But it was his constant pushing of Jessica that was a step too far.

His desire to get Bryce to face the music for what he'd done to both Jessica and Hannah is admirable, but the rape didn't happen to him. He isn't the victim. Jessica is. It's her story, and as a result she should be allowed to tell it — or not tell it — how she sees fit.
