15 Anime To Binge After Attack On Titan Ends

Did you like AOT's unadulterated adrenaline, intense action, stunning sequences and bloody violence? Well, there's plenty more of that in Tokyo Ghoul, so you'd be a fool to miss out on it.

This series takes place in an alternate version of Tokyo (big shocker, that one), where humans are sporadically hunted by monsters known as ghouls. The protagonist is an unlucky boy named Kaneki who falls victim to one of these beasties and turns into a human/ghoul hybrid. From there, he tries to adjust to this new life on the run.

The show - like AOT - does a wonderful job of mixing action and horror. There's plenty of imagery that will haunt you, but it's combined with likeable characters and a narrative that makes you want to keep watching.

It pulls out all the stops of a good anime. There are unpredictable twists, stunning visuals, an incredible opening title sequence and plenty of shock value. Plus, there's this neo-gothic aesthetic that carves out a unique look for the show. If you've ever wanted to see monsters who shop at Hot Topic, then this is the anime for you.
