15 Best American Horror Story Deaths
10. Myrtle Snow - Coven
Throughout its nine seasons, American Horror Story has introduced some incredible, wonderfully unique characters, but none quite so eccentric and bizarre as the Head of the Witches' Council, Myrtle Snow. Played by Frances Conroy throughout Coven and Apocalypse, Snow has actually died twice during the series, though both times she was ultimately brought back from the grave.
After accusing Fiona Goode of murdering Madison Montgomery and cutting out Spalding's tongue, the then Supreme framed Myrtle for attacking Cordelia, leading to her being burned at the stake. However, it was the second time the character was killed that became an iconic American Horror Story moment.
After being resurrected by Misty Day, Myrtle showed how ruthless she could be, by temporarily paralysing the council members who originally condemned her to death and scooping their eyes out with a melon baller.
Though she did this to give Cordelia her sight back, she still killed two members of the Witches' Council, so she made sure she suffered the consequences. At her own request, Myrtle was once again burned at the stake, this time yelling 'Balenciaga' as the flames engulfed her. Nothing else could have summed up her quirky nature quite like this.
