15 Greatest TV Villains Of 2014 So Far

1. Frank Underwood (House Of Cards)

That southern drawl. The glib asides to the viewer. Frank Underwood is one of the greatest villains to ever appear on the box. Together with his wife Clare, Underwood€™s scheming knows no bounds. But what could we expect from a marriage with no scruples? The pair of them plot their rise through the political ranks, through a keen form of manipulation that plays out like a long, evil con. Roping in an unwitting cast of characters to supplement his plottings, his malicious nature comes to the fore at the send of a text. He ruthlessly murders his protege, Pete, when that little experiment goes awry and fabricates evidence so it appears to be a suicide. Eager news hound Zoe is exploited by Frank to further his desires, then pushed in front of a moving train with no ounce of remorse for her brutal murder shown whatsoever. The joy he derives from his pursuits is equally as terrifying. His black heart thumping in his chest as he acts supportive to the president, while simultaneously orchestrating his downfall. People are mere chess pieces to Underwood, easy to swoosh across the board so long as he gets checkmate. Which he does, every single time.
