10. The Boyfriend
"...And you wanna be my latex salesman!" -Jerry This one is famous for a few reasons. One: it was the first episode with a celebrity cameo a la Mets player Keith Hernandez as himself dating Elaine. Two: said Keith Hernandez's crucial error in the bottom of the ninth on June 14, 1987 ruined Newman and Kramer's day with hysterical results, as told in the style of the second bullet theory, or what I like to call the second lugie theory. Yeah, he spit on them! Or did he? Third: it gave us this pictured gem, the ever so quotable Vandelay Industries gag where George tries to cheat on his unemployment by telling the agency that he found a job at a latex sales company which just so happens to have the same phone number as Jerry's apartment. Of course, this fails miserably when Kramer intervenes, leading to this precious gem in television history.
