Much like its sister show Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul is a series that just gets better every year, one-upping itself with every episode, featuring a transcendentally great Bob Odenkirk performance, and some of the best drama writing of the last decade.
Watching Saul Goodman's fall from promising lawyer to criminal fixer trapped inside a world he can't fully control has never been more compelling than it is in the series' latest season.
The season finds Saul more morally corrupted than ever, his wife Kim unable to turn away from Saul's chosen path, and the odd assortment of drug dealers and kingpins in town vying for power and stability.
Much like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul revels in the tragedy of its protagonist's growth and decay, only the spin-off features added layers of dark comedy, and an even more thriller-like pace that often sees the show surpass its predecessor.
Better Call Saul is only a season away from ending Goodman's tale, and if the show so far is anything to go by, it'll be the best season yet.
