Set soon after the events of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Sarah Connor Chronicles continues to follow the troubled and dysfunctional Connor family, as they battle to stay one step ahead of the relentless Skynet and its army of killing machines.

Lena Headey and Thomas Dekker are perfectly cast as the overprotective Sarah Connor and her precocious son (and future leader of humanity) John, while Summer Glau does a good job as the re-programmed Terminator sent back through time to protect them.

Despite being genuinely thrilling and entertaining, the show was fated to become another network casualty and was canned after its second season.

Forget Rise of the Machines, Salvation, Genysis and Dark Fate... The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the only Terminator you should bother with post Judgement Day.
