Here he is, number 1. Yes, you were all expecting this, but to be completely honest, it's just undeniable.
Randy Marsh is the worst (or the best?) father anyone could ever ask for, and he just so happens to belong to Stan, making him quite a prevalent part of the show
As well as being a well respected Geologist, a job that Randy keeps despite being an alcoholic, a drug addict, violent, ignorant and not against masturbating in public places, Randy has worked as a security guard, the chef at the school and various other occupations, making him one of the most well rounded and diverse members of the community.
Randy is, for most people, your worst nightmare as a father, continuously embarrassing Stan by trying to be hip or cool, showing his authority as a man and a father or by simply becoming too easily invested in an idea or a passion.
Even though he is by far the most cringe worthy character in the show, his hare brain schemes and reckless behaviour often ensure that fans are in for the most laughs when they are treated to a Randy focused episode.
God bless you Randy Marsh, and thank you for reminding fans that you should always be yourself...even if yourself is, by most people's standards, a complete arsehole.
