2. Maurice Moss - The IT Crowd
It's tragic that The IT Crowd only lasted a mere four seasons. The groundbreaking show is set within the IT department of the fictional company, Reyholm Industries. Quite what the company does is still a complete mystery, serving as a running joke throughout the series.
Situated in the disgusting, run down basement of the company building, the team are often forgotten about. This is something that doesn't sit well with the group, causing Roy to become extremely lazy with his work.
Maurice Moss however is the complete opposite. As a literal computer genius, he thrives in solving the small technical problems that come up. He is as quirky as they come, with plenty of strange habits such as spraying his ears with a water bottle when they get too hot.
Most of the humour that comes from Moss is based around his social awkwardness. He tends to completely misread situations and ends up saying or doing something that further alienates the department from its upstairs counterparts.
