20 Best TV Comedy Shows Of The 21st Century
9. Happy Endings
With a plot not unlike a lighter spin on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’s pitch black hang out sitcom premise, Happy Endings was wildly underrated upon its initial release. However despite the subsequent success of its stars in years since, the show has yet to earn a large mainstream audience.
It’s a shame when this gleefully silly but good hearted series is as much a successor to Friends as It’s Always Sunny is to Seinfeld.
Benefitting from ensemble stand out Adam Pally’s superb turn as Max, the loveable slacker, there isn't a weak link in the cast of this series, and it's long overdue a revival as it remains a favourite amongst comedy aficionados of the new millennium.
