20 Big Questions About 2017's Most Hotly Anticipated TV Shows

1. Will The Wall Come Down? - Game Of Thrones

Yes, Game of Thrones gets two spots on this list, because Season 7 - despite only have seven episodes - is shaping up to be a mammoth event, with the series really gearing up towards its endgame. And while the initial question focused on events we'll likely see play out earlier in the season, this one is concerned with the very end, and the setup for Season 8.

If, as expected, the final season sees the people of Westeros - and the dragons - do battle with the White Walkers and wights, then the latter groups need a way to invade the Seven Kingdoms. And they can't do that with a giant wall of ice in their way.

The Wall coming down has already been foreshadowed, sort of. Bran is trying to get back to Winterfell, meaning he'll pass through it. Carrying the Night King's mark, he could in theory break whatever magic is on the Wall, allowing the Walkers to at least pass through, but more likely - in a stunning display of power - bring the entire thing crashing down. That would be one hell of a way to end Season 7.
