More ground-breaking than great, Sex And The City showed women being comfortable and outspoken about sex and for that it deserves its props. Ignore the two dreadful movies and you'll find some smart humour here and it's still miles better than Lena Dunham's dull and confused Girls.
Kristin Davis is the real star as she turns the naive and idealistic Charlotte into someone you genuinely like and care about. It hasn't held up as well as you'd hope but it's a milestone show without a doubt.
