Given it€™s the longest running sitcom on television, it€™s unsurprising that The Simpsons has had some of it€™s elements replicated in real life, either by Fox or overinvensted fans.

The most obvious thing to do, the family€™s house, was first done in 1997 as part of a tie in with Pepsi. Built as part of a contest, the winner could either live in it or settle for a sizeable cash prize. Then in 2007, to help promote The Simpsons Movie, some 7-Eleven€™s were turned into Kwik-E-Marts selling various Springfield-themed products.
